Certified Coach

You need a coach to help you make changes, or even to cope with unwanted changes brought in your life.

The International Coaching Federation, of which I am a member, defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to MAXIMIZE their PERSONAL and PROFESSIONAL POTENTIAL.

COACHING is not therapy: therapy deals with resolving difficulties arising from the past that causes emotional suffering in the present. Coaching supports personal growth in pursuit of SPECIFIC GOALS that are self-initiated. COACHING FOCUSSES ON THE FUTURE.

COACHING is not consulting. Consulting implies a diagnosis and implementing solutions. With coaching, the solution comes not from the coach, but from the client through a DISCOVERY PROCESS.

COACHING is not mentoring. A mentor is an expert who provides wisdom and guidance based on his or her own experience. The coaching process does not include advising or counseling, and focuses instead on individuals SETTING and REACHING their own OBJECTIVES.

  • Reconnect you with your strengths and skills
  • Help you move forward with confidence and clarity
  • Give you support to make the right decision

Here is how I can help you:

  • I will help you express and define your needs and pull you out of the whirlwind of emotions you are experiencing
  • I will help you cope with these emotions in a structured manner so that you can see clearly where you want to go, what you want and how to achieve your goals.
  • I will give you the structure you require in order to make the right decisions regarding all matters related to your breakup: your children, your finances and the relationship with your ex-partner.
  • I will help you avoid the lengthy and painful cost of going through the judicial system by supporting you in negotiations in order to resolve issues.

Through coaching:

  • You will be able to deal with your ex-partner in a non-confrontational manner;
  • You will stop being emotionally drained by discussions and arguments with your ex-partner;
  • You will learn how to avoid conflict regarding co-parenting with your ex-partner;
  • You will learn how to help and support your children through this process;

When I act as a coach, I do not act as an attorney. I can’t and will not give you legal advice nor replace your attorney, should you have one. However, I can certainly give you information regarding the legal system, its workings, its benefits and its challenges and support you during the legal process.

Coaching will give you back control of your life – it will empower you!
